A lo largo de mi formación y carrera he combinado los estudios urbanos, la arquitectura y la filosofía, en gran medida influido por dos estancias universitarias en Stuttgart (2004-2005) y en Berlín (2005-2006). Desde entonces, tanto en un plano profesional, como docente o investigador he orientado mis esfuerzos a encontrar un ámbito de convergencia entre estas disciplinas.

Soy ARQUITECTO por la Universitat Politècnica de València (2008), con la calificación de Matrícula de Honor en el Proyecto Fin de Carrera y premio extraordinario UPV. Gracias a la obtención de la BECA LACAIXA para Estudios de Máster en España (2008), pude dedicarme en exclusividad al MÁSTER EN PENSAMIENTO FILOSÓFICO CONTEMPORÁNEO de la Universitat de València (2009). Con la ayuda del Programa de FORMACIÓN DE PROFESORADO UNIVERSITARIO (FPU) del Ministerio de Educación, Cultura y Deporte inicié mi carrera docente-investigadora dentro del Área de Estética de la Facultad de Filosofía de la Universitat de València. En 2015 defendí la TESIS DOCTORAL EN FILOSOFÍA «Autonomía y expresión en la arquitectura. La antinomia de la modernidad al hilo de Claude-Nicolas Ledoux» en la Universitat de València con el reconocimiento de PREMIO EXTRAORDINARIO. 

He desarrollado estancias investigadoras en la AKADEMIE DER KÜNSTE (Berlín, 2013), en la Fachgebiet Architekturtheorie de la TECHNISCHE UNIVERSITÄT BERLIN (Berlín, 2013) y en la UNIVERSITÀ DEGLI STUDI DI PALERMO (2017). En 2021 obtuve la calificación de CUM LAUDE con la TESIS DOCTORAL EN ARQUITECTURA “Goethe y la arquitectura. La dialéctica de la autonomía entre el clasicismo y la modernidad” defendida en la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

He participado en PROYECTOS DE INVESTIGACIÓN INTERNACIONALES, tanto en el área de la filosofía, como en arquitectura y estudios urbanos. Parte de los resultados obtenidos en mis investigaciones de los últimos años han sido divulgadas a través de diferentes PUBLICACIONES (libros, capítulos de libros y artículos indexados) y COMUNICACIONES en congresos y seminarios de carácter nacional e internacional.  Las líneas de investigación que en la actualidad desarrollo atienden cuestiones relacionadas, por una parte, con la regeneración urbana y la política de vivienda y, por otra, con la viabilidad de la modernidad arquitectónica. Soy investigador en el INSTITUTO VALENCIANO DE LA EDIFICACIÓN desde 2016 y trabajo fundamentalmente en cuestiones relativas a la política de vivienda. Colaboro en materia docente con diversas universidades.

Throughout my career I have committed myselft to urban studies, architecture and philosophy, largely influenced by two academic stays in Stuttgart (2004-2005) and in Berlin (2005-2006). Since then, on a professional level, as a teacher or researcher, I have focused my efforts on finding an area of ​​convergence between these disciplines.

I am ARCHITECT (Polytechnic University of Valencia, 2008), with Honors and extraordinary UPV award. Thanks to LACAIXA SCHOLARSHIP for Master’s Studies in Spain (2008), I was able to dedicate myself exclusively to the MASTER’S DEGREE IN CONTEMPORARY PHILOSOPHICAL THOUGHT at the University of Valencia (2009). With the help of the UNIVERSITY TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM (FPU) of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports, I began my teaching-research career within the Aesthetics Area of ​​the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Valencia. In 2015 I defended the DOCTORAL THESIS IN PHILOSOPHY «Autonomy and expression in architecture. The antinomy of modernity according to Claude-Nicolas Ledoux» at the University of Valencia with the recognition of EXTRAORDINARY AWARD.

I have participated in INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH PROJECTS, both in the area of ​​philosophy, as well as in architecture and urban studies. Part of the results obtained have been shared through different PUBLICATIONS (books, book chapters and indexed articles) and COMMUNICATIONS in national and international conferences and seminars. The lines of research that I am currently developing address issues related, on the one hand, to urban regeneration and housing policy and, on the other, to the viability of architectural modernity. I have been a researcher at the INSTITUTO VALENCIANO DE LA EDIFICACIÓN since 2016 and work mainly on issues related to housing policy. I collaborate in educational matters with various universities.
